That is a pro consumer policy. I as a steam user want to know my game isn't cheaper anywhere else. Otherwise epic or other companies will charge 30 % more on steam.

Steam is driving linux adoption like crazy. Which is great for everyone's freedom.

Idk how pro consumer it is when on other stores where the fees are lower and devs can publish the games for lower price they can't cause of valve. Watch the first vid

The gambling thing? I got through the first few minutes and couldn't finish it. I just don't care about digital trading cards.

Really though stores have to do that or every publisher will charge more on any platform that isn't theirs.

Even if it's not a good policy for the developer it is a good policy for the consumer.

Which is me in this case.
