Cholesterol and Brain Health

Did you know your brain is made of ~60% fat?

And yet, people are being told to lower their cholesterol… which is critical for brain function.

1️⃣ Cholesterol is essential for neuron function.

Your brain needs cholesterol to build and maintain neurons.

2️⃣ Low cholesterol is linked to cognitive decline.

Studies show that low LDL levels correlate with memory loss and Alzheimer’s disease.

3️⃣ Statins can damage brain function.

By lowering cholesterol, statins impair neurotransmitter production—leading to brain fog, forgetfulness, and even dementia.

4️⃣ Better approach?

✔️ Eat healthy fats (tallow, butter, eggs)

✔️ Avoid inflammatory foods (seed oils, sugar)

✔️ Support cholesterol levels naturally

Don’t starve your brain. Cholesterol is NOT the enemy.
