I feel like I have somehow pooched the nostr experience by upgrading to the new amethyst.

* My feed feels aenemic, slow, and sporadic to update.

* My follower count is a fraction what it used to be. Not a huge deal, but perhaps a hint at how maybe my relay config is messed up?

* Last night I received 7 zaps to my wallet, but Amethyst shows me no notifications, so I have no idea which notes/users correspond to the zaps

Is there a way to just reset the relays to Amethyst default? I know there are events that help your relay config to follow your npub, but this point it all just feels like that is working agains me.

Flower counts vary greatly depending where you check. Go to nostr.band to double check that number.

There is no way an app wipes the people following you. Wiping your follows, that's not unheard of. Anyway, paying attention to follower counts on nostr is a waste of time

I guess I never took the counts seriously, but in old ethyst, I consistently had 1200-2000 followers. The fact it dropped to like 200-400 I dictated to me that new Amethyst isnt digesting my relay config so good.

Yeah I'll hit nostrudl or some other app to see the difference. I'm also not getting zap notifications, further pointing me towards either relay config or maybe Amber permissions.

I use identical relays on Amethyst and noStrudel and just saw that Amethyst now thinks that I have zero followers. However I do get zap and DM notifications. Amber permissions are set to "I fully trust this app"
