Statists exist because they believe the average person is not capable of thinking for themselves.
Hey maybe they are correct.
But I still believe the in goodness of humanity and optimistic despite how foolish humans can be sometimes.

Statism not only implies that individuals cant make positive, life affirming decisions, it implies that groups and communities cannot make decisions without an intermediary. Its absurd on its face. Its a form of supremacy which is most often seen in cult social structures.

Statists aka central planners (and their apologists) want to disincentivize individuals and groups thinking for themselves because they believe the world needs to be a certain way and having a diversity (as in the real definition) of thought on that goes against central planning.
Statism is the stupid idea which claims that human beings are evil therefore they need to be controlled by another humans beings
If everyone is as dumb as statists believe, then by their own logic voting would be a terrible mechanism by which to select leaders.
