Awesome, you can give me good info then.

What's the process one might go through to get their deposit requirements/trading limits and reputation up as a maker selling xmr? I'd like to sell some at some point and I want to be prepared.

I believe the limit by default is 3 Monero, and if you are a signed account, then it's increased.

Your account becomes signed by interacting with another trader who is also already signed and then after 30 days your account will automatically become signed.

There really is no reputation system. The security deposits take care of that.

You are told right before publishing the offer that any trader who meets the requirements of your offer is allowed to take it.

OK how much is the deposit to become a maker?

Generally between 15 and 25% of the offered amount.

Oh OK, so I'd put up an offer, max 3, and I have to provide 15-25% of that offer as a deposit in case I try to scam someone or whatever? I was wondering that.

Are there arbitration fees?

As of now, there are no fees. As of December 31st, 2025, there will be a fee and it will likely be 0.5% of the trade amount.

Well, there actually might not be a fee right at January 1st. I think it really depends on when the next release of the Haveno software happens after that date.

So if a version of the Haveno software comes out on December 15th, there would not be a fee, and if the next version comes out on February 1st, that's when the fee would kick in.
