#rant I wanna cry so bad.

Last evening I tried to explain what a REPL loop is to a newbie and used the classic telephone robot menus as an example.

So he went, commented out my templated code that he was supposed to copypaste,

...and used digits for the commands instead, taking the analogy actually seriously.

Help. Me.
