How are your molecules sent faster than you'd travel yourself?

The idea of teleportation assumes your particles aren't actually traveling but the information on what they are and how to rebuild them (and ultimately rebuild you) are transmitted using some near-instant transmission method. The only one that would notice any difference is the one coming in, since for all that matters to him, he'd die.
