But you don’t need to be married to start a family. What benefits does getting married provide?

The Sacrament of Marriage is a nice rabbit hole in this regard. You'll know when you'll meet the right woman. It's better to be prepared, js.

In a society where marriage is a respected institution that grants certain rights and privileges, obtaining a marriage license is the way to legally establish your family with your partner.

But if you don't want those things, and just want to commit to your partner in your own way, that's ok too.

And if you don't want a life partner, that's ok too.

Legality was literally the last thing on my mind, but I get why people are stressed about the socio-economic consequences. 200y+ of statist propaganda have tainted a lot of minds.

I was referring to the kind of special bond created between a man and a woman in a world where you're free to do whatever you want. I think it's amazing some people still choose to go old fashion.

Don't get me wrong, it's better to be in a loving partnership than in a loveless marriage. Personally I've found that agape is reachable rather inside the marriage than outside.

You can get married without involving the state.

Back when the state wasn't antiWhite, it made sense to do so.

These days state law actively works to destroy the social institution of marriage via no fault divorce, fake and gay anal marriage, and divorce rape in the courts.

Why get married at all? What do you benefit from a government piece of paper that says you’re married?

What about the commitment you make before God?

Which God?
