Of these puppies, more than half will die before they reach adulthood. For those who do make it, they are bound to a miserable life of suffering.

Every day is a struggle as they live in constant fear of hunger, disease, injury and the risk of cruelty.

Overpopulation and uncontrolled breeding leads to a never-ending cycle of abandoned and neglected animals.

No animal deserves to suffer like this.

Sadly, this is the tragic reality for stray animals in Asia.

One way to help is to support local organizations to neuter them and to provide vaccines.

For example #SoiDogFoundation has neutered and vaccinated close to one million dogs and cats in the past twenty years.

Another option is to research local organizations and to get them involved.

I'm living in Bali at the moment and contacted the local vet. We're organising for two young females who had already had litters despite being teenagers themselves to be neutered and vaccinated.
