Ok, here is the video titled "This is How the Chinese See the US in 2024"

This video is for all of you out there honestly looking to understand not just how Chinese view the US, but looking to assess to what degree the Chinese are free to express their opinions.

When they get to the issue of Tik Tok I couldn't help but laugh.

If there is one video out there I share with people asking me this very set of questions, it is THIS video. It runs 20 minutes long, and is worth every single minute spent of your time.

My take away was just how knowledgeable the Chinese are about America. If you watch the video, ask yourself if the same series of questions were asked about China of the average American could they answer? I'm fairly confident the answer would be a resounding no.

Very, very true. In my entire time in #China, it has been the case that America has been viewed rather idyllically .

That said, over the past several years it seems like the Chinese are collectively asking the question "What is going on in America?"

That, at least, is the one question I am asked more than any other.
