My dude are you serious? The difference between what it was like living as an average Soviet citizen, and an average Western citizen, was night and day.

And while I don’t know how bad it was for the average citizen living under Nazism, I do know it was quite horrific for a subset of them. Totalitarian rule really is materially different, even if I do have to concede that in some areas it’s not as good as it should be.
