One observation about disagreements on #nostr is that people aren’t as hateful. I’m sure there’s plenty to be found but geesh from YouTube to X, I’ve seen some crazy stuff. It’s like people argue just to argue.

That’s not an accident, the algorithms do their best to trigger emotions of any sort. Comments on there are just a reflection of how worked up people get as a result

I think it’s the Great Hack on Netflix, an awesome doc about the algorithms. Absolutely eye-opening to hear from the people that designed them and how they’re used.
