The minute you approach the gate to board, you implicitly give consent to board using biometrics. They got me before I had the chance to open my mouth to decline.
If you want to opt-out, they want you to go to the check-in desk prior to the start of the boarding process.

I asked them where was the sign with that policy and the woman just pointed at the desk and said they had announced it over the speaker.
