The chances of winning the sperm race among 300-500 million competitors, on the probably only planet in this area of the universe capable of supporting intelligent life in an advanced form are so low that we should be happy every day that we are alive.

Identical twins occur when a fertilized egg splits into two eggs.
Same sperm, same egg (genetically), just two of them, and yet two completely different people.
