Fire Cider 🔥 or Master Tonic
🍋 ½ lemon (thinly sliced)
🍊 1 orange (thinly sliced)
🌶 2 chilli peppers (hot chilli's! split in half)
2 teaspoons grated turmeric
🧄¼ cup minced garlic
¼ cup grated horse radish
🧅 ¼ cup minced onions
¼ cup grated ginger
🌿Herbs: 4 or 5 cloves, parsley, rosemary, 1 tsp of peppercorns
🍯 ¼ cup of honey
Put this into a glass jar.
Don't use a pure metal lid. Use one that's coated on the inside, like a pickle jar.
Fill the jar with organic apple cider vinegar.
Place the jar in a dark cupboard for at least 2 weeks, the longer the better, shaking daily.
After fermenting, strain all solids with cheesecloth, squeezing out all the goodness.
Add honey for sweetness to taste.
Store the liquid Fire Cider (or Master Tonic) in a glass jar, preferably dark, in the cupboard again.
Drink a shot daily to fend off sickness.
Drink a shot every 3-4 hours when you have an infection OF ANY KIND!
Try to use all organic produce, if you can.
