They're trying to prepare for something similar, the government in #Nigeria tried. I'm expecting more western countries to try and eventually fail.

#Bitcoin will keep creating a new block every ten minutes, just might become cheap for a moment and then incredibly expensive. Who wouldn't want a piece of the coin that's an escape from their oppression? That's why I'm telling people not to buy it to speculate on its price, buy it as an insurance in case the government will fuck it up again or try to attack their own people.

More on the situation in Nigeria:

Population acceptance of CBDCs will likely be correlated to compliance with lockdowns.

What I learned from all the hoopla resulting from the lock downs and authoritarian clownship that followed is that the vast majority of people really don't know how to live.

They are always in need of authoritarian types putting limits to what they can and can't do. This way the people are comfortable knowing where the limits are.

It's stupidity being led by stupidity. And I think, I hope I'm wrong, people will flock to CBDCs for two reasons:

1. The government wants it

2. To them, It's more convenient than cash

From talking to people about anarchy, the main sticking point seems to be that most people nowadays have a deep mistrust of other people and few that they need protection. It’s a very pessimistic view of humanity.

3. the CBDC's will he handed for free
