Yeah, I think I get what you mean and I think we fundamentally agree with the ideal.
For example, if I may ask, would you move to and invest in an El Salvador, Bukele, ultra Bitcoin-based country somewhere in the world BUT that has a small 0,1% wealth tax to fund a UBI for the people?
You know what I mean? And in that sense it wouldn't be a tax per se because you'd be voluntarily invest in it because you believe in the project.
I think this is an example of a nation state of the future.
But like you're saying, I also think that we're going to have a bunch of communities like nostr:nprofile1qqsy6anug24qnrglth9vpj5l8a4mzaqgjc8tl5j65dn4tplkdmax4dgzhwtt3 eheh :D, pure voluntaryist, affordable, open, permissionless communities around the world and yes thus that absolutely means a collapse or a complete parallel, network state like, community (like I think you'd like to call it :D) or alternative to the current nation states.
I'm working on both ends/games. At the municipal/global parallel level (what I think you kind of call communities), with FreeVillages and then something else at national level, with something that I'm going to talk about soon for Portugal and any nation state in the world.
I think we should be working in both games simultaneously. The current nation state power structure and the new world (Bitcoin, Nostr). And then in the middle there will be the golden nuggets.
āI think this is an example of a nation state of the futureā
This is a complete oxymoron. From my perspective, there will be no āNational Stateā of the future.
Youāre waaaaay over complicating this, IMO. The answer is always far simple than the unnecessarily complex abstractions that our āmonkey mindsā create.
Study natureā¦.And learn to quiet your mind š§āāļø š¦
(I wish someone had told me this at your age)
BTW, What Iām describing is not idealic wishful thinking. Itās a systems engineering imperative routed in millennia of history.
Itās not going to happen āin the futureā. Itās happening right NOW.
