You should still use a password manager, lol.

I use Bitwarden already. It generates long five word passphrases for me.

Local KeePass is my city; I've been debating using Proton Pass, but unsure since I migrated to KeePass from Bitwarden as part of my desire to keep as much off the "cloud" as possible.

Definitely understand the desire to keep things local rather than on someone else's computer.

When I am in a position to rebuild my home lab I may well revisit this.

To be honest, I'm now using ProtonPass and the Bitwarden extension is way better.

Did you selfhost it? I'm afraid to do it ...

I don't unfortunately. I really want to, but I don't wanna lose all my passwords if I fuck up my home server. But Bitwarden is open source and end-to-end encrypted so I trust it enough (or rather, I don't have to trust it too much).

I have exactly the same mindset 👍

It's way too much important to play with it!
