My view of the role of different plants is changing. Many of the plants westerners call invasive weeds, are part of a natural reclamation system. Nature is designed to seek a very specific equilibrium. Some of the plants we call invasive, like dandelions, blackberries, and others, are more like Special Forces plants that go into damaged areas attempting to take over, in order to establish environments where natural equilibrium can re-establish. Many of the problems we have are a result of working against natural processes rather than with them.

I’m trying listen, watch, and learn.

I agree with this view and I still hate some of them 😁
