so my Phoenix tells me I can only receive transactions when the app is open, cuz I do not have google services installed/ activated

that should be good enough for receiving, when I'm actively buying

but I won't be able to use phoenix for nostr here?

cuz then my app would need to be 24/7 open and running for me to be able to receive zaps/ sats via nostr?

yes. in that case, use WoS for the LN address and transfer to phoenix every so often

cannot use WoS

cuz I have no google services (appears to need it)

also have no appstore, so would need to look where to get the apk
