I think laws have evolved but humanity has regressed a little or is still the same really. If you reduce the laws that were built to protect humanity I think a lot of people around the world would be ok with it.
The fact that you are even able to participate in this discussion is proof of how much humanity has advanced.

I’m not arguing. I agree we have a long way to go, but we’ll have to do things that some will consider “losing our humanity”.
