It's common sense and there's nothing cultish about it. I'm not going to take a financial risk by moving away from bitcoin (check price history of btc/your shitcoin) just so you'll be pleased with me.
What's it to you what currency I use anyway? Will it really satisfy you more if I just agree with you? 🙄

I'm not telling you what to do, I'm simply saying that there ARE genuine use cases for some altcoins. Just because you choose not to use them, that doesn't make them useless.
They're useless to me, hence why I don't use them. Stop shitcoining already!
This is the problem I take with your stance. Use BTC only, if that's your preference. That's all good! However, when you're effectively telling others they shouldn't use altcoins because they're not Bitcoin, that's where the problem lies. I'm not telling YOU to stop using Bitcoin and I'm not insulting your choice.
If I think it's a shitcoin then I'm going to come out and say it's a shitcoin. It's not like I MUST say something positive about it.
If you still have a problem with that, then either do something about it or fuck off.
