just did a quick read up on Bolt12, this is super cool. Great way for people to now pin Tip QRs to videos and posts etc with out the need to change the QR. Is this a correct take?

Yeah - static payment addresses without requiring a domain name is the most exciting part.

Think of a farm stall that has a static QR code for Bitcoin payments.

LN URL was always a bit of a band aid solution & only really became useful when Nostr gained traction.

Still a large use case for human readable addresses though… we’ve got time though because nobody uses any of this stuff 😂

Maybe Nostr can help with a bolt 12 address registry?

I don't think relying on DNS is a good long term strategy.
