On the 21st of July, we remember Iuliu Scriban, a WWI veteran. When communists took over Romania, they arrested him because he openly defended his #OrthodoxFaith. They tortured him to deny God, but he refused, proclaiming "Christ is my life!". He was sent to a labor camp at Galeșu, near the Danube, where he died from the brutal labor and starvation.
