Try wireguard or tail scale (a nice UX for wireguard)
Lots of times when I'm away, my internet may fail, but my home services are all fully operational, some of which...provide internet! 😉
Germany and it's public WiFi is a mess. This train's DNS server up and died. xD brilliant. Now I have to force my Browser into DoH and the rest of Windows has no idea what to do. kool. Seriously. XD
On the bright side, I got #Zeus to work because my VPN somehow managed to connect! So I could actually access my homeserver. Yay.
Last, an actual #Bitcoin wallet to round everything up. And, apparently I need to read the #Lightning docs more - although nostr:npub137c5pd8gmhhe0njtsgwjgunc5xjr2vmzvglkgqs5sjeh972gqqxqjak37w sent me 31 sats, I see some odd things in the log; for some reason my "Give the bird a burger!" message is wrapped in a JSON array...? o.O But, that aside, it seems to mostly function. I also went ahead and added my LN Adress - it seems to work, after all.
So, fingers crossed I am nearly done? ^^;

I am using Headscale (self-hosted Tailscale) on my own server - in fact, the connection to my homeserver has been surprisingly stable compared to anything else. It must've been able to resolve my hostnames prior to the DNS server going full-derp and has since just kept everything open, which is neat.
