Is this like a simple tutorial for self hosting music on v4v networks?

Yes sir! If you want a handhacked DIY example of the RSS feed with comments explaining the tags, I got you covered too:

Sure is. This one is aimed at music, but there's a way to self host audiobooks in a very similar fashion so any podcast app can play your audiobook and the v4v ones allow your listeners to send you sats. Just in case you might know a guy and his girlfriend that are interest in self-hosting an audiobook v4v to see if it might work for them.

Thanks Adrian! Only saw I took a longer time out from most internet activity...an Easter digital detox. Now back and catching up on things.

I respect the discipline!

Is there a way to split proceeds automatically? Like if I were to record an audiobook for nostr:nprofile1qqs9rzzjrvedgzm5pgfc35jyugny9k34zhq0kw0swpt39ymsqz8t2xqpr4mhxue69uhkummnw3ex5cfdddshy6fwdpjkwatjduhxxmmdqy5hwumn8ghj7em2d45x66r8dymnswtgdfnkg7t9wfuhxetjvajxvanzde3hgefwveukj0t3eke and host it via podcast, could we split the zaps between myself and the 21 Futures crew?

Absolutely. It goes in your podcast's RSS feed, just like this guy is doing.

You just singlehandedly re-inspired my excitement for producing audiobooks. Amazon and their shitty walled garden has really discouraged me from narrating because they artificially make it such a grind for producers and writers. They take 60% of the cost of the books if you choose the β€œbetter” option of exclusivity and they only give the producer 7 years of royalty payments per project. It’s a scam. You just changed my life good sir.
