One of the proudest Dad moments to date is when my son left a year-group WhatsApp within a few hours of being invited because it was "full of nonsense". 🥹
Unless you regularly spend time to manage the notifications, will end up with that. Every all pushing to allow notifications to lure you back in mostly and not because something truly meaningful happened and needs your attention in app most of the time
There are things we can do:
-Disable notifications by default
- delay notification dots
- delay reactions
- disable notifications setting after x period of time
This is just a start. I’m sure if we got our minds on it, we’d do a lot of good.
The only notifications you need are calls and texts
