I am not in the position to spin up a node at this stage but I am aware that this would give more control through liquidity management, custom routing, channel rebalancing, cryptographic proof of a transaction etc. From what I have read though there are indeed a few difficulties still to be ironed out in the network.

Even had issues topping it up using LN invoice on the exchange, kept saying the fresh invoice was invalad so had to do a full bitcoin transaction to have the sats for zapping.
Did you get the 21 sats I just sent over?
