GRAVITY AND DUMBBELLS

Dumbbells only have one direction of force, and that is down with gravity.

For some people, the arms angle out away from the body. When we do dumbbell curls, this can take force away from tissue and put it more through joints - particularly the shoulder and elbow.

Changing your position so the bicep is more vertical to directly oppose the force of the dumbbell will put more tension through the bicep - for more gains 💪🏼
