Lol. The government pension fund has almost $1.5 trillion of assets under management... for 5.5M people. That would be equivalent to the US gov having a $90 trillion dollar pention fund for it's population.

If the people aren’t benefiting from it and instead the government is debasing the currency and justifying ever more parasitic jobs, what good is the sovereign wealth fund to those people?

It's still a net positive. The people leaving aren't giving up their Norwegian citizenship.
