I believe Elon has access to good TA. Either done by himself, or someone he hires. The timing of his announcements and other stupid shows is often spot on.

The so called Elon pump on BTC in early 2021 was just the market doing its thing. He so desperately wanted to be Mr BTC, but couldn’t. Saylor sorts of has the spot, and the shadow of Satoshi is too large for everyone.

So, Doge is perfect. Renounced by his creator, already had a community (I would assume not made of the smartest people) and is fairly light to play with for a guy like Musk.

But, I truly think TA dictates when announcements are made, not the other way around.
