It’s super funny to me that part of btc culture seems to be knocking anything else in an “us-vs-them” style.

I feel like it would help adoption to highlight how awesome btc is and skip the trashing other things part.

Then again, I get that it’s more fun to have an enemy? idk just my .02¢ (sorry for mentioning a diff currency just now yikes)

I’ve actually come full circle from having started in Bitcoin early on - went full everything coin during the 2017 bull run - then circled back round to Bitcoin. The bashing is mainly all the false promises that arises from other projects with a lot of money being thrown at it.

I agree that we should stick to highlighting how awesome BTC is and skip the trashing. A bit of trashing in good spirit is a bit of fun. I do know people in London who actually have a billion different tokens, are broke, and floating around odd DAOs so from my end it’s the fluff that gets to me - while they think I’m odd when I tell them I just DCA into Bitcoin. They’re actually shocked!

Let’s just say BTC promises very little and usually delivers.

Strong take, good points :) thx for writing it Noah! ⚡️
