#Nostr is being built as a new online environment with different rules than what you're used to. When it's further developed you'll be able to say goodbye to everything you've been doing online so far and switch to an environment that does the same better and more, in an honest way that makes you sovereign.

I think it definitely still needs a BLOCK function, especially if person is a woman! And cuz of assholes/arseholes who get attacky.
Blocking is client side functionality that will be available in all shapes and forms. Optionality is key here because this protocol is a broadcasting medium, things will be as loud as you are willing to receive. #Nostr is not designed to protect fragility, it is designed to protect free speech. Assholes will always exist, to protect yourself from them you can always decide not to use a social medium that connects you to them. 💜
True, assholes will always exist but I prefer being able to minimize them.
They quantity of assholes really depends on location tho irl! Some places and countries have more of them!
