Just got gifted an OG Xbox One Model 1540. Using my Leatherman multi-tool bits to tear it down and clean it out. So dusty!

Used a spudger to remove the grill. Removed the sticker in one piece and popped the tabs to open the case.

This ribbon caught me by surprise, so glad I opened the case gently. If it's damaged, the power button would literally stop working!

Removed the speaker and WiFi/Bluetooth board cables.

Used my Leatherman Torx 8 bit to remove the WiFi/Bluetooth board...

Removed the Torx screws marked C1-8 with a T10 bit and detached the WiFi/Bluetooth cable from the motherboard.

Easy peasy.

This is going to be a fun clean/restoration. Might replace the drive, the fan and some other parts while I'm in here.
