The developers are working tirelessly to bring you all the features you desire, including the ability to live stream right from the app itself. You will have to find a server for your video first. That server needs to give you a .m3u8 URL. Then the app could have a new stream screen where you put that URL into it.
Long term we might be able to do streaming through Nostr relays, but no relay is ready for this right now. :( So, the external server is a requirement.
That being said, if you use live.snort.social in a desktop, you can use a browser extension to log into your account. That is very safe at the moment.
Or just create a new account for the stream and share the URL/Nostr event that Snort creates on your feed. That also works.
