Interesting question my friend because I just went through the calculus of moving there and taking that chance to avoid an exit tax when leaving Canada. (If Alberta secedes and you lived there….no exit tax)

I felt the chances were under 30% (which was too much risk for me in what is coming) and therefore I decided to exit Canada and pay the tax.
