I'm sorry, but this guy's never been genuine about wanting to advance...anything. He just gets enough hype to get the shareholders more invested... ...and to make him stick around longer.

Usually I agree with you on most things but the idea Elon does things to “advance society forward” seems a bit too altruistic to me. I think his actions have clearly been based on ego/personal and financial incentives rather than trying to do things to better society. Not sure if #[2] would agree
Guy built an extremely risky and non-lucrative rocket company to try to make humanity interplanetary. People *just* interested in money don’t do that. Starting to think he would be totally down with being god emperor of the solar system though.

Elon is a victim of his own success. He’s achieved great things (with a lot of help) but boy has it gone to his head.
He seems more genuine than most but I don’t buy the saving humanity routine from him. Always look at what they do. He’s told many a lie to hype his businesses and pump their stocks. We need to stop looking for a singular savior especially billionaires who have financial interests and instead look to ourselves.
