Can a multisig wallet receive Bitcoin as normal? Or are there extra steps to receive Bitcoin with this set up?

Multi-sig addresses are just longer. But it's still a normal receive address.

The trick is the sending. It takes up more block space to send because it requires more signatures. 😉

Higher transactions fees I assume as well?

I haven't noticed any difference in transaction fees sending TO the multi-sig address... But definitely coming FROM.

I follow the recommend guidelines of, single sign 1M+ sat UTXO.

Aren't longer addresses consuming more space as well? Or do you mean that sends are significantly larger?

Sending from is significantly larger. Sending TO doesn't seem to make a difference.
