It will probably not, but in the meantime we would have cheap, clean energy? Which sounds like a win-win
Discussion
Would only be cheap, if who you are buying it from let's you buy it for cheap.
But with someone elses millions of dollars invested into the nuclear plant to power your home and miners.... slim chance of cheap electricity happening...
My bet, it'll cost more, just because, just ike this inflation....
Investors arnt settling for the traditional 3-8% per year anymore...
They want double or more and it'll come from your pocket for what their investment (nuclear power plant) provides you...
But it will get cheaper to produce as technology enhances..
Gas making technology has advanced.
Why isn't it cheaper to fill up my tank than it was for my dad in the 90s?
Food production technology has advanced?
Why are food prices so high?
And lastly
Electric production technology has advanced.
Why has my Electric bill gone up?
Investors that own the stuff, arnt settling for 3-8% returns anymore and Technology doesn't advance on its own. R&D costs money and takes lots of time leading to you paying what they(the investors) say to pay and in what form...
Prices never come down long term, ever, with anything, but shitcoins.
Nuclear is not the way.
Self reliance is.
Biogas, wind, solar, and hydroelectric are all sovereign forms of energy production humans can use to fulfill their own electric needs.
Generating your own Biogas, wind, solar, hydroelectric, similar to PoW/ Bitcoin mining.
Buying Nuclear power from investors(folks that already have money) similar to POS and Ethereum where the value flows to those who already have value.
My two cents is that nuclear is still the way. Just because we are not allowed to harness it doesn’t mean it’s not going to be harnessed by us. Nothing cleaner and nothing with less waste. You don’t need barges, trains, and semi trucks delivering it daily. Not to mention it’s waste has a use of its own too. Maybe I’m hard headed? But I’m also on point with everything else ..
