It would need to be a separate image for every note, and I would need a way to correlate every image with corresponding note. It's also pretty noticable in Amethyst anyway, not like the old 1x1 image hidden in the page in the old days 😂

True, that would give me an overall view of daily views of posts & profile. Not as fine grained as per post but still interesting. Client caches would make this less reliable though. I suppose either way some clients like Primal may cache images anyways rendering either a moot point. Interesting to think about how tracking and analytics might come to Nostr though.
Some notes have hidden hashtags that are displayed by Amethyst. I wonder if you can hide an image that gets accessed but not displayed 🤔
I think if you add image in the tags but not content, it might not show actually, but probably not gonna be fetched either 🤔
