Replying to Avatar Global Threat, Inc.

Does anyone know how to create a channel on LN via btcpayserver and Ride the Lightning? I've tried so many peers from 1ml.com and they all need like $400 for a channel. I'm not risking that much not really understanding how any of this works.

You are limited by the number of sats you have onchain and the node that you are trying to open the channel to. There is never a point in having channel that is below 500k or less, unless you expect very little traffic. Also, current mempool fees make channel opening and closing very costly 🐶🐾🫡

Yes. That’s at least what my node’s minimum is set to. Larger nodes would only allow 5-10-20M 🐶🐾🫡

so should i just connecct to wallet of satoshi peer and open a channel? If I close the channel do I get my money back??

You need bitcoin in your wallet to create an LN channel. Funds in WoS or LN funds 🐶🐾🫡
