This one simple trick helped me from going to pathetic yields to a hero dose of garden peppers.

Don’t mix pepper plants within 20 feet of tomato plants.

They don’t play nice together.

Spring will be my first in ground bed other than my pollinator garden.

My yard is quarter inch of top soil and then nothing but clay. I'm going to start with a sweet potato patch since they like that. Cut sod off and broadfork that clay with this compost pile I'm cooking

I suggest planting some comfry in a couple spots. Roots run deep and pull nutrients from depths below.
