Non-custodial: Muun Wallet
Muun is a bad choice for non-custodial.
Phoenix is much better.
Why Muun is bad?
Itβs not a real Lightning wallet and it canβt handle a high on-chain fee environment.
Ok thank you. Ignorant question: How can you recover your sats if Phoenix App disappears?
You force close your channels. https://phoenix.acinq.co/faq#what-happens-if-acinq-disappears
Excuse me, Iβm not good with these π I know nothing about channels, but there they are talking about what happens if lightning network disappears, I was asking about what happens if Phoenix disappears.
It was an answer to both. Static channel backups will still allow you to restore your funds on-chain.
Ok I will try to learn more about it. I was looking for another kind of solution. By example, I think if one App generate a seed phrase, and that App disappears, that seed phrase can be used on another app to recover those sats. (Excuse me if my english is not correct)
You have a seed phrase, but itβs not the same as an on-chain wallet since your sats are in channels. You canβt just recover on-chain without closing your channels.
You should take some time to read their FAQ and if you want to jump into the nostr:npub1hxfkcs9gvtm49702rmwn2aeuvhkd2w6f0svm4sl84g8glhzx5u9srk5p6t TG we have some people who can probably give you some more detailed answers.
Thank you Daniel! Iβll check it out
