Uhhhh my understanding is that the possibility of a TikTok ban brought some (real) users over which is super dope. Love them.

However, it also brought …. a lot … of fake users and spam/scam users with some pretty easily identifiable markers.

So now it’s the rock and hard place of wanting to be nice to potential real people but also trying to figure out if they’re just sat-fishing. 😂

It’s a very interesting place. Lots of interesting things to try, but the no algo feel, not being censored and being able to use my login across a bunch of different clients is sweet. Get a lot of different experiences in a simple way.

And I find it much easier to interact and learn about things I find interesting.
