Prepping garden beds

My process:

1 - stake the rows, line out with paracord. 2’ paths, 4’ growing beds

2 - cover growing paths with natural hardwood mulch

3 - shave off top 3” of grass/roots to expose bare soil in the growing beds

4 - load beds with a 50/50 topsoil mushroom compost blend

5 - map out seed spacing and plant seeds

6 - cover beds with straw chaff to retain moisture and prevent rain erosion
