Burned the first key? What does that mean?

Might be completely dumb questions, just curious to learn💜🫶
Anigna is one of the first Nostr clients, a Telegram clone, really well done! But with a XSS bug that potentially compromised his users' keys.
So I decided, like many others, to create a new key pair and so "burn" the old one.
Lesson learned: never put the nsec in a web app, always use the extension (nos2x/Alby).
