He’s more Yeltsin than Putin but I see aspects of both. Citizens should be preparing for a similar future for America as Russians saw in the 90s/00s. We’re never going back to the Clinton or Obama days, just be glad he is pro bitcoin as that gives people some protection and jurisdictional optionality.

In Switzerland people can vote for the rejection and initiation of any and all laws and budgets.
Switzerland is the freest country in the world AND the one with one of best quality of life, social indicators, environment indicators, etc, etc.
The left wing is nowadays completely autocratic.
It's just never going to work. Left wing people have to learn about the Swiss model and actually start collaborating with the right.
The left nowadays is an absolute joke. And this comes from a person that loves permaculture, vegetarianism/veganism, ecology, all beings in the world, renewable energy, etc, etc. You've simply became captured by authoritarianism and you don't understand why there's a counter movement that despises you.
Learn about Swiss democracy and voluntaryism. Then you can become left wing again. There's nothing progressive about your causes. It's all regressive.
I have a lot of Swiss friends that say similar things about right/left dynamics in the U.S.
Those that know me see my critics the traditional dem left/progressive in the U.S. very much so, just as I do the maga right

I think the biggest thing left wing parties need to understand is just basic economics (non Keynesian of course, i.e real economy). Taxation for the middle class, small businesses, and subsidies from the State are extremely bad for the working class. Basic economics.
Current left-wing parties have become fake green elites of State thievery. Basically a mafia that is destroying the world. The worst of all worlds because at least the right wing always wants a small state. Left wing basically puts people against each other in the name of undemocratic fake values that they've created and are all top-down.
Hopefully this kind of culture never has any chance at power at least in the US, which ends up being the most important country and culture in the world. In other words, I hope MAGA is here to stay. And hopefully, because it is magnitudes better than anything the left-wing has created.
Anyways, thanks for the answer, I very much respect your courage and strength of openly defining as a progressive. And I do believe you might be really a progressive :)
