Replying to Avatar HODL

Thinking it’s “too late” for you to get into bitcoin is an illusion of the ego.

Sure you didn’t get in at $6 or even $6,000 and others who did are higher status than you. Put that aside. That’s your ego fucking with you.

This isn’t about pride, it’s just about money.

We are still early in bitcoins story.

$66,000 is still cheap believe it or not.

We have 100x left to go at a minimum.

Your ego is not your amigo, it’s trying to keep you from riches.

Do not listen to it.

yes, bragging rights don't come from the entry price they come from the hodl.

plenty of people bought some at $6-$6k. most sold.

one thing bitcoin has taught me over the years is how rare true conviction is, and the lengths people will go to avoid doing the work needed to understand something important. you're a rare breed Hodl!

So true. Been here since 2017. Never sold. Kept stacking.

Very hard at times. The “on paper” swings but BTC changed my perspective on life & time preference.

Folks today don't grasp that when bitcoin was $6, there were no hardware wallets, no seed words, only a wallet.dat file that needed to be backed up *after every transaction*

I lost a lot of bitcoin because backup & recovery was so raw before BIP32. Whoever moved their 2010 mined coins yesterday has earned a lot of resoect in my mind 😉
