Looks like X pays creators about 86 bitcoin/m and Nostr does about 10 btc p/m.

X has to push a gazzillion ads down out throats. On Nostr it is all voluntary contributions to each other. Transactional vs valuable.

I will give my own anecdote - 99% of the time, x is just for lurking and genuine interaction is extremely rare. Spend 5 minutes on Nostr and you’re chatting with someone cool.

Not to mention 90% of my followers seem to be bots.
