Compared to Europe that is extremely cheap. Price of 1 liter of petrol (euro95) here in The Netherlands is 2.18 euro. That equals $8.66 a gallon!

Yes, it is. Generally the people accept it here, because “we care about the climate”. It’s horrendous. Europe is completely fucked.
